If I were a … (redux)

This entry goes with the original post; I am merely explaining my answers into further detail. 🙂

If I were a month, I would be December.

I love the cold weather, heated blankets, s’mores… Recently it has been snowing almost every year in Texas; it used to not snow as much.

If I were a day of the week, I would be Monday.

Sometimes my Mondays are horrible, but I love Mondays even if I am so mad at how the day went that I put it down and curse it out (rarely).

If I were a time of day, I would be 3:26.

My birthday is [redacted #sorrynotsorry].

If I were a planet, I would be Pluto.

Just because Pluto is a little different from the other planets, does not mean you should leave Pluto out. If Pluto was once considered a planet, why must he now be the odd one out? This is why science is irrelevant to the world, in my opinion. Most of them are stuck up and whatnot, basing everything on factual evidence. Christian Scientists are not bad; they do not have to see things in order to believe.

I’m a little different. Are you going to tell me I am not a girl because I do not always act like one even though I look like one?

If I were a sea animal, I’d be a Killer Whale.

Dolphins are a part of the Killer Whale family.

If I were a direction, I’d be East.

I live in east Texas.

If I were a piece of furniture, I’d be a lamp.

I can be dark or bright.

If I were a liquid, I would be water.

Water is my favorite drink.

If I were a gemstone, I’d be a(n) Aquamarine.

Aquamarine is the birthstone for March.

If I were a tree, I’d be a(n) Cedar Tree.

Cedar Trees smell good, but I am allergic. 🙁

If I were a tool, I’d be a flashlight.

I like to help people. ^^

If I were a flower, I’d be Rose.

Roses can be bright colors; roses can be dark colors.

If I were a kind of weather, I’d be sunny with a chance of rain.

I’m not always happy, and I can’t always be happy.

If I were a musical instrument, I’d be a recorder.

It is the only instrument I can play and not mess up whilst playing it.

If I were a color, I’d be green.

Green is one of my favorite colors.

If I were an emotion, I’d be content.

I am usually always content.

If I were a fruit, I’d be an apple.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. 😉

If I were a sound, I’d be a whisper.

Whispers are quiet and loud.

If I were an element, I’d be Earth.

I like recycling things, saving electricity, etc.

If I were a car, I’d be an egg. (LOL)

I don’t really know what kinds of cars there are. Some look like boxes; some look like eggs. Others are cars; others are trucks; others are vans.

If I were a food, I’d be a potato.

I love mashed potatoes.

If I were a place, I’d be Texas.

I have lived in Texas all my life. 😛

If I were a material, I’d be cotton.

Cotton is soft.

If I were a taste, I’d be sweet.

I have been referred to as a sweetheart.

If I were a scent, I’d be vanilla.

I think vanilla smells nice.

If I were an object, I’d be a calculator.

I love math.

If I were a body part, I’d be an ear.

I have good hearing.

If I were a facial expression, I’d be content.

Like I said before… 😛

If I were a song, I’d be Dance by Vanessa Hudgens.

I like to dance.

If I were a pair of shoes, I’d be flip flops.

I am almost always wearing flip flops! 😛

Today is blah.

Sorry, but comments are closed on this post.

Interesting choices. I’m not sure what I would pick. I love the smell of vanilla too. It’s so pleasant and soothing, don’t you think?

A lot of your answers are very unique! 😀 I like your reasoning on the time of day… 😀

Hello!

I didn’t read all of this because the part about scientists and Pluto initiated a rant.

I totally agree. Scientists can be brilliant but they are far too factual. If they can’t see it in their little microscopes then they just don’t believe it. I love watching this TV show called Bones (if you haven’t seen it, it’s about a forensic anthropologist and she’s really smart) but she is too factual and science based or whatever. Meow 🙂

I am not doing this part of the survey. Then I actually have to think a bit and work my brain during my holiday. Blah.

But I do have one issue with your reasoning, and it’s the one about Pluto, and my issue is kind of irrelevant to your post, but it’s an issue that I feel strongly about.

I speak as someone who loves the sciences. To me, science is always relevant to the world, because it’s the foundation of so many things that are designed, and gives humans a lot of power in this world. It’s not meant to touch on emotion (unless you consider social sciences to be sciences too), and it’s meant to only describe things by sight, and nothing more.

By a scientific definition, you’re a girl because your biology says so. You exhibit traits that may be uncommon for a girl, but you meet the definition of a girl nevertheless. After much debate, planetary scientists have defined “planet”, and Pluto does not meet the new definition. (Not that I wasn’t sad that there were now only eight planets too.) You could also say that Pluto is now lumped into a category that is a bit more fitting for it.

All righties, sorry for that rant. Irrelevant it was.

I love Pluto. I’ve no idea why just because it’s a little different, it’s no longer considered a planet. I still really do think it’s a planet!

I love a lot of your answers, and for some of them I’d say similar things. Like the gemstone – I’d be an emerald as that’s the birthstone for my birth month. When it comes to memes like this I always see myself doing them in my head as I read them on people’s blogs. 😀

I absolutely love Mondays. Since I was younger, I always looked forward to the day, sort of a start to the week, and I liked going back to school.

I still think that the quality of the air is better in the country, in comparison to the city. D: Sounds like it still has its own pollution problems though.

Thank you! =)

Well, fish does contain omega and other good oils which are good for the brain, so perhaps it really does help the baby!

That’s very true, ugh. You see decorations and hear music in early November. I think it might start getting celebrated earlier, but I’m still hoping that people will stop commercialising it and just relax at least until December starts. x_x
