When they stretch, when they run, when they sleep, when they eat – kittens are so cute.
These kittens, though, have an advantage: they were born in the wild so they have adapted to that. Even though they are house cats, their claws and their teeth are sharper than what other kittens their age may have – especially kittens born in socialization rather than on a farm. Their momma didn’t get to feed them using her milk, so they had to rely on what she brought home to them after hunting – mice, squirrels, birds, etc.
Curious as can be, the kittens live and learn as they live their day to day lives. When Boog cleans them after they hop out of the litter box or teaches them how to fight, he’s not only taking care of them, but he is teaching them as well. Like humans, I’m sure kittens learn something new everyday.
What would our lives be like if we were as curious as kittens/cats? If we enjoyed exploring as much as they do? Would we be smarter than we are now, or would we have the same knowledge?
What do you do when life throws you lemons? Do you make lemonade, or do you use them as a base to make something completely new?
I discovered my blog is growing. Within the past week I have went from about six different commentators an entry to eleven or so. It’s exciting, but at the same time, it’s frustrating. I’m afraid to get behind on my comments again. 🙁
I’ve also learned that, when I reply to someone’s comment directly on my post, they never reply back or comment again. Only rarely have I done that, and I don’t like to do it. I only reply to comments like that when I know I will get behind for sure. >.< Blah.
I’m making a “glossary” page that will be in the about section. It will act as a guide to those who don’t know who someone is that I talk about in my posts. This way I won’t have to continously explain it. ^^ I just have to figure out how I want to organize it first! 😛 Maybe in lists?
Above are the kittens that were rescued. 🙂 I don’t know/remember which one is which, though. 🙁
