Yesterday afternoon I helped Patrick with his multiplication. When I was in third grade, my teacher would give us time each day to work on our multiplication tables. We would start with our 1’s and work our way up. That is what I did with Pat. I printed off practice sheets from BlueBonkers. I am also going to help Carrie with her addition. Next for Pat will be reading comprehension, but I am better at Mathematics. I am hoping that improving his math skills will be a good enough start so that he will be better at one subject, and then be able to work on the next?
I’m also one of the creative ones in the family. o.o Mathematics and creative things is what I help out with when it comes to homework. English/Language Arts/Reading? Not a favorite, but I can do it if it is a need.
I haven’t posted in my plog lately. I probably won’t until next week or so. We’ll see how that goes? 🙂
I feel like doing homework. 😐 Geometry and algebra is my favorite. ._. Send me your homework? I’ll really do it. Maybe not right away, but I will. Besides, I need some examples for my math tutorial and resource website. 🙂 I decided to write walk-throughs, too, so that people can be looking at the tutorial and solve the problem with me, instead of trying and working hard to figure out how I got one answer, whilst they are getting another. That’s the fun part of math. It’s also the same in every country! 😀 Math gets me all happy and worked up. A lot of my offline friends – and some online ones!) find that abnormal. 😮
I have wanted to be a math teacher since senior year, but this year it has felt almost impossible. I would rather have a career in teaching math, though, than being a professional writer or … in general, a celebrity. Math is my hobby.
Pft. I have my syllabus already typed up (at least somewhat!) for how my future math class will be run. Is that odd? To have planned something thus far? I typed it up earlier this year – January or February I think. Or maybe even December of last year. 😛 Haha. It’s on my laptop, though. You know … the laptop who’s battery is stuck inside its motherboard and I need to pay about $150 to maybe $200 to have fixed? Yeah, THAT one. >.<
Otherwise, I would share that syllabus with you.
You would probably laugh. Not because it was funny, but because you couldn’t believe that I had actually typed it up and planned every single little thing: homework passes, amnesty day, notes in a notebook spiral, etc. Yeppers. 😛
Seriously, though. Send me your math homework. 😛 Geometry and algebra, though. Not that calculus stuff. xD
