Sunshine Award, Part II

Since I’ve already done the Sunshine Award in its full form, I’ll post questions other peoples asked me since I posted it. I feel like I missed a person who tagged me, so if it was you, just tell me and I’ll get to answering those questions as well. :p

Cantaloupe and Sofie tagged me.

Sofie’s Questions

Why did you pick your website/blog name?
9birds.net was taken at the time, and 6birds.net just seemed fitting. Maybe because a 9 upside down is a 6. Who knows? It was just decided on a whim. No sentimental meaning upon purchase, just upon owning and using it.

Really, I guess that this site/blog name is like receiving a collectible item that earns value over time. 6birds grew more important over time.

What is your favorite color?
Grey seems to work. I also fancy orange.

Are you doing what you thought you would be doing at this point in your life?
I’m doing the complete opposite.

What is your favorite thing about your personality?
I’m honest.

What is the worst thing you have ever tasted?
That’s a tie between chocolate, blood, broccoli, mushrooms and dental stuff.

What is your worst habit?
Biting my nails is a horrid habit.

How do you feel about people wearing fur?
I don’t mind as long as it’s faux. Or if animal died before skinned.

Are you a typical “x”? (your zodiac)
I’m an Aries, but I’m more of a combination between Aries and Pisces. Contrary to the astrological matches, December babies and I don’t work out. All my exes are Sagittariuses.

If you received $10,000 to donate to any cause, what would it be?
Kidd’s Kids.

What is your most treasured item and why?
I really don’t have just one.

What is the best and the worst thing about being a blogger?
I think the best thing about being a blogger is that you have a voice, and people will read what you have to say. At least one person will read what you’re saying. You also have the power to share what you want in a more personal way. I think the worst thing about being a blogger is that you have to make sure you word what you want to say properly to avoid any confusion that causes you to feel like you have to defend yourself. Maybe it’s the maintenance more, I don’t know. Sometimes I just want to throw my hands up in the air and give up on blogging altogether, but I know I’ll regret it, and I don’t like regretting anything.

Cantaloupe’s Questions

What is your favorite sexual position?
N/A

What is the weirdest thing you wanted to be when you grew up?
Hm. I really don’t know. :O A vet? I decided against it, however, because surgery and seeing animals in pain and blood and being a doctor is the last thing I want(ed) to be.

If you were wealthy, what three eccentric hobbies would you have?
Probably golf/tennis, wearing fancy and expensive clothes, and country clubbing. That all sounds wealthy-like. 😛

When (and what) was the last medicine you took?
I’m typing on 3 December at 3:05pm. I last took ibuprofen at 2:10. Hydrocodone is at 4:10.

What is your signature dance move?
I don’t really have one. Boring, I know. I enjoy grand jetés, though.

Who is your favorite writer and why?
Lois Duncan — I’ve read all her books, and I found it really inspiring that she took real life events and used them for inspiration for her novels. For the record, I read them all eighth grade year.

How many children do you want to have?
Two. A girl and a boy. But that’s also so cliché, and I also want twins.

Describe what you’re wearing right now, in detail.
White mesh-like shorts with blue stripes down the sides, a black camisole, and Halloween underwear that was supposed to glow in the dark but never has, even when I got it several years ago. Came in a pack of two. And glasses and a raggedy ponytail holder.

Where would you live if you could take all your family and friends with you?
Kinda been there, kinda done that — no thanks!

Where would you live if you had to start all over, cut off from everyone?
Depends on whether ‘everyone’ includes friends.

If I offered you $50 to promote an ugly product on your blog, would you do it?
Maybe. I mean, you never said I had to talk nicely about it. 😉

I’ve read a few of Lois Duncan’s books. “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and “The Daughters Of Eve” were two of her best, in my opinion.

Q&A post! Hahaha 🙂 I like doing these kind of posts, since I don’t really have any idea on what to type lol.
Regarding on some questions,
I also love to bite my nails when I was 8-10 years old. I don’t know why but there aren’t any spices added on my nail, but it’s a really bad habit I ever done. Haha
6birds sounds nice, Liz. It’s like a flock of birds (to be more specific, 6) are tweeting and 6 of them were sharing stories that popped out inside their minds. That’s how we, bloggers, do in our own website. Haha 🙂
Cheers! 🙂 x
