Tomorrow + Toothpaste: A poem collection

Tomorrow.
Oh, tomorrow.
Of all
The things tomorrow
Has to offer…
Pondering
Anything—
Something—
Tomorrow
Expects.

Tomorrow,
Toothpaste,
Tantalizing—
These start with T.

Tomorrow may come
Others will run
Out into the past—
Those morrows, of course.
Has anyone
Perhaps considered
Actually
Savoring
Today?
Especially since we’ve only one life to live.

Tomorrow
Other than going on and on about this, it’s an
Ode to tomorrow—
Tomorrow and toothpaste.
How humored I am that I succeeded at this!
Poops tend to happen in the morning,
According to a
Survey
That—
ENOUGH!

This is the last
One I’ll do, for I don’t know about Y-
O-U, but I am so
Through.
How fun this was, a
Poetry prompt!
All
Stories for
The other ones
Excited me not!

Thus, this is where I leave you,
One collective group of people!
One can only go on rhyming for so long!
This is not the end,
However; for I will share my
Poetry
Another
Scintillating
Time.

Aha I loved this! Reminded me of my onomatopoeic poem I wrote recently because it’s fun to read out loud 😄

Ah! Poetry can be about anything and that’s the beauty of it. I enjoyed reading these. Please post more!

Thanks! Found it while cruising Feedly. 😅 I was nervous to share it. 😳 All but one stanza (I think it’s called) spell “toothpaste” ’cause I was like, “How does one even do this?” 👌
